Shipping & Pickup Policy Shipping & Pickup Policy

Shipping

We use Fedex, or Canada Post for domestic or international shipments. Drop shipments may arrive via alternate shippers, such as Purolator, UPS, or DHL. Ground shipments are processed as quickly as possible and are generally shipped within 2 to 3 business days.

Shipping outside of Canada is available but rates are not available on-line. For quotes and processing your order, please contact us at sensuzsales@sensuz.com. Customers are responsible for all customs entry fees and taxes as well as brokers charges. Please contact your local shipping offices for the charges that will apply at the time of delivery.

Shipping transit times, approximate rates, international offices, and other freight information is available on-line at Fedex or Canada Post Website.

A confirmation with freight/tracking number will be e-mailed on the day your order is shipped.

Although Sensuz Media Inc. insures all products from damage during shipment, and will request processing from the freight/shipping company, Sensuz Media Inc. is not responsible for missing freight or damaged products due to mishandling by the freight company. All information pertaining to the insurer and freight company will be provided upon request.


Local Pickup Option - Ontario Customers Only

Customers may pick up merchandise locally to save on shipping fees. A minimum non-refundable handling fee of $5.00 CDN for orders under $100 CDN (before taxes) will be applied to a valid Ontario postal code when local pickup option is selected at the online store check-out. However, provincial sales tax still applies on all purchases and handling services. We will offer combined shipping on multiple item purchases to save our customers on charges up to a maximum volume and weight by our discretion.

Local pick up customers must have their purchases paid in full (ie. Paypal, credit card, or money order) prior to pick up and plan to arrive during the specified pickup time and location. Failure to arrive by the end of the specified/scheduled pickup time period will result in an additional handling fee for the next local pick up or extension period which must be paid in full to Sensuz Media Inc. (PayPal or credit card). Please contact your sales representative or SensuzSales@Sensuz.com if you must change or extend pickup times.

All local pick up customers will be notified by email confirmation by Sensuz Media with package(s) order number and will be required to present a valid Ontario driver’s license with the identical name that appears on their Paypal/credit card account. Customers will also be required to sign for the product for pickup confirmation.

In event of failure to pickup item(s), a 15% restocking fee will be applied as outline above. Handling fee(s) are not refundable.

CURRENT PICK-UP TIMES: Products are delivered to the local pickup location on Wednesdays and Fridays only. If products are in stock at the time, orders received by 4:00pm EST on Tuesdays can be picked as early as Wednesday at 5 PM. Similarly, if products are in stock at the time, orders received by 4:00pm EST on Thursday can be picked as early as Friday at 5 PM. Customers will be notified by email at the earliest convenience regarding pick up of items that are not in stock or that are back ordered. If you must cancel or revise pickup times, notifications must be received by 3pm EST Thursday. Please check for email or phone confirmation of pickup date prior to arrival.

Customers now have ONE full week to pick up their item from the day they are notified before being charged an additional handling fee (see above).

UPS Store hours (as of March 2009):

Monday to Friday 9AM - 6:30PM
Saturday 9AM -12:30PM

No pick-up available on Sundays and Saturdays during Holidays or Long Weekends.

Corporate Office Showroom

Product viewing and/or product pick up are also available at our showroom located at our corporate offices located in Markham, ON. Please contact us at Sensuzsales@sensuz.com for details. Showroom hours are from 9:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Signature Required on delivery

We require signature on all shipments unless you have specified signature waiver. If a person is not present to accept the package, a notice of delivery will be left at your door. Some customers may have special arrangements or signature waivers with the local Fedex office to leave a package which we will honor if the option is checked on your order, but normal liabilities do not apply. Requesting signature waiver will result in your shipment insurance being limited to maximum of $100 in the event of loss or theft. Sensuz Media Inc. is not responsible any liabilities arising from your choosing signature waiver when placing an order at our store.

Items that require modifications and special labor may require more time for processing. Please refer to item information for shipping schedule.


Incorrect Address Policy

Please take special care when entering your mailing and shipping information. All orders will be processed based on the information you provide us. Sensuz will make every effort to make sure your package is labeled correctly and clearly. Missing or incorrect mailing/shipping information will be the sole responsibility of the customer. Returned shipments to Sensuz will be withheld until payment for RE-SHIPPING is received and the customer will be notified. The customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees to RE-SHIP the package to the correct address. Original shipping charges are not refundable. The 15% restocking fee will be applied to returned merchandise.

If Sensuz accidentally ships incorrect merchandise, please simply let us know of the error WITHIN 30 DAYS of the package arrival. We will be happy to immediately correct the error and arrange for the return of the incorrect merchandise that you received at no extra charge. Incorrect articles include cases where:

  • Wrong Item was delivered.

  • Wrong Quantity was delivered.
